How Day & Night Blinds Work
A day and night blind is made from two layers of fabric, each woven in alternating solid and sheer stripes. The layers sit on a single roller, and as you operate the blind the stripes glide past each other.
Line the sheer stripes up together and soft daylight fills the room while you keep a gentle view outside. Slide the solid stripes over one another and the blind closes for privacy and shade. Raise it fully and it tucks neatly into its cassette, just like a standard roller blind. That stripe over stripe movement is what earns the zebra blind nickname, and it lets you fine tune the light at any point in between.
Where Day & Night Blinds Work Best
Day and night blinds earn their keep in rooms where the light changes through the day and privacy matters. Soften low evening sun in living rooms, keep glare off kitchen worktops, and cut screen glare in a home office without shutting daylight out.
